2003: Love at First Sight
Kim and Kanye first met in 2003 through a mutual friend. In the 10th anniversary of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim recalled that Kanye didn't know who she was when she was first introduced to him.
At the time, she was married to Damon Thomas, but that didn't stop Kanye from developing feelings for her.
2008: First Appearance
After their meeting in 2003, Kim and Kanye remained friends, even though he secretly wanted her to be his girlfriend. The rapper was such a big fan of Kardashian that he even tried to get her on his hip-hop muppet show.
During an interview with Wired, the director of the show, Alligator Boots, said that Kanye insisted on giving the part of Princess Leia to Kim.
Despite her participation, the show never really took off. However, the couple did walk away with a lot of fun memories to share on social media years later.
2009: Kanye Confesses His Love
It took Kanye six years to confess his love for Kim Kardashian, and he chose to do it in a way he knew best: writing a song about it. In his single Knock You Down, he sang a lyric that could have very well been about Kim.

Unfortunately, she had already moved on to a new man, NFL star Reggie Bush. But that didn't stop jealous Kanye from taking a dig at him, telling her to 'leave her boyfriend' to be with him.
